Mr. Nkosinathi Titus Mchunu is the founder and partner of Mchunu Koikanyang Attorneys.  Mchunu Koikanyang Attorneys is a law firm dedicated to consistently provide high quality corporate legal advisory services to clients in order to assist them find both meaningful and practical solutions to their business problems at all times.  This firm’s vision is to become one of the South Africa’s most respected, dynamic and highly rated law firms because of the quality of service to its clients and the speed of delivery.

Titus served articles of clerkship at Werksmans Attorneys from 1996 to 1997 after which he was appointed as a professional assistant in both litigation and commercial departments. In 1999, he joined Deloitte & Touche as a manager in the Electronic Law Solutions unit of the Business Law Solutions Division. Thereafter, he joined ABSA briefly as a legal adviser in its legal department. Titus has acquired extensive experience in various areas of law, including general corporate and commercial law, information technology law, intellectual property law, outsourcing, mergers and acquisitions, privatisation and restructuring of state owned enterprises, corporate governance, public private partnerships and commercial litigation. He has advised and continues to successfully advise clients in the public and private sectors on all of the above mentioned areas of law. 

Mr Mchunu is a member of the Law Society of the Northern Provinces.  He is also a member of the Licensing Executive Society of South Africa and has adjudicated on the Technology Top 100 (TT100), 2005.  He is also a member of the Audit Committee of the Local Government SETA.

Mr Mchunu has been highly involved in the implementation with theDepartment of Public Enterprises to Review and redraft the Protocol on Corporate Governance  in the Public Sector, to bring it in line with the recent King 2 Report, and the latest developments in corporate governance internationally. This protocol has been approved by Cabinet and will be launched shortly.

Mr Mchunu has subsequently facilitated and lectured to many organisations regarding key corporate governance issues. He has lectured for organisations like the South African Broadcasting Corporation, Universal Services Agency,  Xhasa Accounting and Technical Centre and the Department of Trade and Industry.
