Principle presenter: Peter Oldacre
Peter has over a decade’s experience with power generation projects, the financing of these kinds of projects and the regulation and legislation needed to support Independent Power Producers. Peter is the MD of the Sub-Saharan subsidiary of Camco and is also the Director responsible for the origination, generation and placement of carbon credits for the African Continent.

Ian is GM of TWP Projects Energy Division and MD of TWP Energy (Pty) Ltd, the Energy Investment arm of TWP Holdings. TWP Projects provide EPCM services to the renewable energy and power generation industry in Africa and TWP Energy (Pty) Ltd is actively developing various power generation projects in South Africa and other African countries on a build, own, operate basis.
Supporting presenter: Pierre Rubber
Pierre is the manager for special projects for Trans Africa Projects Ltd, a company who’s mainstay is the design and construction of transmission lines across the African continent. Pierre worked for Eskom from 1975 to 2001 and was the International Energy Trader for Eskom before joining TAP Ltd. Pierre has been responsible for major electricity clients outside SA as the Energy Trader, and since 1975 has been responsible for the planning of new power stations as well as the engineering and construction of HV transmission lines.
