This special and customized 3-day program has been designed to ensure delegates learn how to use, prepare and negotiate Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for projects in the electricity industry. Although PPAs can take various forms it is essentially an agreement for the sale of electric power between a power generating company and a wholesale purchaser such as a distributor and commonly used as an offtake agreement to facilitate project finance for construction of a power plant.  They are essential for a successful liberalized and competitive electricity industry.
