Alfredo Herrera teaching Aviation Marketing for Terrapinn Training

Alfredo Herrera has over 35 years’ experience in the fields of consumer marketing, branding, sales, operations and general management in both professional and entrepreneurial capacities. He was most recently the Head of Commercial for AirAsia Philippines, a member of the AirAsia Group of Malaysia.

Alfredo also previously held the role of Senior Vice-President for Marketing and Sales for AirPhil Express. He was a member of the core team that restructured, transformed and rebranded Air Philippines, a legacy airline, into a competitive low-cost carrier that grew from 4% to over 21% domestic market share. Before joining the airline industry, Freddy handled a number of key brands with major multinationals in the food and beverage, health and beauty, and packaged goods industries.

He is currently a management consultant specialising in new ventures, corporate restructuring, new product launches, branding and image building. He is active in new media and e-commerce, currently specialising in the development of web portals for the Philippine travel and tourism industry.
